Direct Billing

Many insurance companies provide coverage for treatment. Due to the Health Profession’s Personal Privacy Act we are unable to access any specific information from your extended health insurance company regarding your coverage. Your policy is between you, the subscriber, and your insurer. It is your responsibility to know the parameters of your coverage, such as annual maximums, frequencies, renewal dates, and any other limitations.

We also extend the option of direct billing (also called assignment) for your convenience. However, a valid credit card must be on file and your insurance company must accept this service. Please be advised that currently, we only accept direct billing for those patients with Alberta Blue Cross insurance.

Worker’s Compensation Injury Care:

We are an Authorized Worker’s Compensation Board provider committed to evaluating and treating your work related injury. To assist in the successful management of your claim, we provide the appropriate reports to your Employer and to WCB. Your treatment will be specific and time targeted with the goal of returning you to pre accident condition.

Motor Vehicle Accident Care:

Whiplash injury, sprains and strains from a motor vehicle accident can result in pain, soft tissue damage and spinal dysfunction. If left untreated, early joint degeneration can occur. We offer a wide range of therapies, all conveniently provided by our therapists in one of our two Calgary locations.

Provide us with the particulars of your auto insurer and we are able to bill them directly for your treatment. Therapy covered by your insurer include chiropractic, therapeutic massage, acupuncture, spinal decompression therapy, active release technique, Graston therapy, shockwave and exercise therapy.

Missed Appointments

We value your time, and as such, we do not double book our clients. Your appointment is valuable time that the doctor has reserved specifically for you. Due to a continuous high demand for appointment during prime times, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice per appointment should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.If insufficient notice is given, a missed appointment fee maybe charged to you, or we may require you to prepay to reserve your next appointment.

Although we will make every effort to contact you prior to any appointment, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that you will be at your appointment, unless other arrangements have been made in advance with our office.
Please understand that it is your responsibility to keep track of your upcoming appointments. As a courtesy, we send out e-mail confirmations the day prior to your appointment.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
